Goofateer Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Last year downtown Winchester started a Christmas promotion. Several downtown businesses were given identical wooded Christmas Tree's. They were all decorated in any way the businesses wanted to, most were painted, one was covered in pink feathers, another in Christmas cards, one was painted in the inevitable local sports team colors, etc. etc. All the Christmas Tree creations were displayed for about a month and a half, then auctioned off for a charity during the Christmas Parade. Well this year we all got Snowmen.
