Eagle
We were discussing Phasers the other day. I described what I thought the attributes of a weapon like this should include. A weapon that looks ominous , it has to be holstered easily, have a light but powerful energy source. Be light and rugged for combat duty. I can't draw so I went to town this morning and got some raw materials. Put this together about 15 minutes ago. It doesn't photograph well. It's rugged but I have to build a holster. Has the weight and feel of a real weapon. Very comfortable fit. No sight, because I didn't want the Buck Rogers look. I think Roddenberry would have liked it. This one doesn't operate, but that wouldn't be hard to do. This was not inexpensive to build. Â Â
dratomic
Neat. Reminds me a lot of the phaser from the Pilot episode of Star Trek, with the simple, cylindrical look.
Andyman
Sweet. And if we look very carefully in the reflection we can see Alfred Hitchcock. ;)
