Slowly I will finish the Radar and Zoomer run on these excellent looking ones from Planet Robot.

Added this Steel/Burgundy version # 805-C. I really love the colors on these and this one is very cool looking. 🙂

I finally completed my Radar series. It took some time but I located the rare box art version. This one was still new in box with all of the paper work included. 🙂

Hi Roboto,

Beautiful Red Boxart Radar Robot!

(And beautiful pics as usual!)

I have one of them and I really love it.

Do you know how many of these robots have been made?

I've asked to Planet Robot but they never answered.

I believe there were around 50 made since many that were made came with the full set for the ones who bought the whole series. There serial #s were low and even then not many of the sets were sold. I bought mine from a person in Taiwan who sells Radars and Zoomers on Ebay I asked him to look for one it took a while but one day I got a message saying he found one and I bought it. It was new but was checked out to see if it worked and it works very well. Even the rear Antenna is bright and shinny. Mine is #19. They are extremly rare just like the X-mas version is. Notice that his gel eyes are even green. 🙂

I found out from Planet Robot that there were four versions made for there members at the time. They got to choose there color combinations and from what I have seen they had some great looking X-mas Zoomers. Some of them are extremely rare and expensive . Love this all Green Zoomer 🙂

While doing research on the Zoomer X-mas models I recieved a few more pics of the known colors made in this series. The last version with the white legs and green body is the rare one of the bunch. I really love what Planet Robot did with the Repoduction series of there Radars and Zoomers and adding that nice touch to the X-mas series on the battery door in white x-mas 2004 . 😄

From the collection of my Radars-Zoomers to the bare metal Space Explorer there nice looking cards that came with them. Here are a few of them and I really love the versions that have that X-ray card showing the inners somewhat. Many of the ones I bought came with 3 to 5 cards inside them. Planet Robot was very helpfull in my quest to find the rare ones I have and a few more that are still hopefully coming that have been located for me. Something that I found out was that on the Chest meters there color varied as they were built. 😄

I finally have added to the collection this wonderful White Space Explorer which was released as part of a set paired with the Red Winky. Both have the same serial numbers and both arrived with there limited edition cards with the inside of the box done in a red covering. This set took some time to find but was well worth it. Both were still new in the box and had been ordered at one time but never collected so they were set aside and forgotten about. This was a lucky find for me. 😄
