laserman Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 As shown on the previous thread, while I made Maid Bot for my eldest son for Christmas, I also have made these marching Drummer bots for my two younger sons since they both played the Quads and Bass Drums at our John F. Kennedy High School. School colors are green and yellow as you can see, so are the bots. I also incorporated elements of their actual uniforms into the designs as well. Eyes are lite with LEDs. amoebaboy Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Cool ! i once made a robot drummer based on mechanism in one of those drumming bunny toys i got it to play some interesting rhythms, but it never got properly beyond the prototype stage.i used to perform with a group called blissbody doing arty multimedia music stuff, one of my favorite installations was a modified drumming bunny with pickups in the drums, played through an insanely loud pa system, it shook the ground !
