laserman
Well, late again in getting this guy done as usual. Too many other things going on. Here is Data Man. He is painted with that orange metallic paint you are seeing appear on many new cars lately. His head is a tea tin. The ears are actual transistor heatsinks I found at my company's surplus store. The eyes are decals with lenses in front. The retro Computer tape drive is a belt driven system ( I had problems with a gear drive which I pulled out). The belt will occasionally stick, but basically does quite well. The motor is one of those ISORC motors Mr. Rigg has used in some of his bots. That's about it. I have several more bots in the works and planned for later this winter. Enjoy!! :P Video linkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqx1i05-hus

laserman
Thanks Guys. These bots are a lot of fun to build--over all. There are moments here and there. Also, it creates a momentary diversion from all the other stuff going on. Here is a group shot of my six Chief conversions to date. A couple more plus the maidbot for my son are yet to come.Hi Oz, I tried to send you a reply and it also bounced back
