I guess it's about time I show off my more modest collection. Not much vintage stuff but still some pretty cool robots.

This cabinet I made out of an old drafting board. I boxed it in, trimmed it out and installed rope lighting around the perimeter. The rope light hides behind the cut brass carpet threshold pieces.

Here's my R-1 "Gang of 4". Still looking for a blue R-1.

Yeah, the bare metal R-1 has a flashlight hairdo. ;)

Andy,,,,A really Nice imaginative display ,,,,,,Exactly what I would expect from the mind of Andyman...I particually love the cabinet with the rope lighting [i might have to copy that one ,one day] Also the R-1 with the Dreadlock hairdo :blink: :lol: and I've never seen Hobo ,what a great bot!.....It's nice not to Just focus on Robots ,,something I used to do and just lately I have been thinking about doing again.......

Hi Andyman, It's a great collection and the more I see of the new stuff the more I like it, and that's how you should collect,just buy what you like. I just bought a new smoking spaceman and it's as good as the original as far as I'm concerned. Your pics were begging to be enlarged and I like the different themes, well done! ;)

I know this goes a little off topic but I want to show you my concert stage I built with working lights. I change out the band every once in a while and replace it with either Metallica or Motley Crue. I'm not a big fan of the Crue but I do like the figures.

We never go off topic................Never , Never, Never !! ;) I'm a big KISS Fan. Best concerts I have ever been too. Aerosmith was good but Ted Nugent was too loud. :P Do they dance around Andy ??? How about putting the "Runaways" up there. Cherie Currie singing lead !! :rolleyes:
