Phil R
These are the newer Flash Gordon guns I've gotten so far from the 70s-80s. There are quite a few more. The Buck Rogers shows produced very little in rayguns. :D
Fineas J. Whoopie
Phil - Do you think there would have been any Flash Gordon toys made in the 70's and 80's if it weren't for the Movie?
Phil R
Fin, I doubt there would have been the proliferation of Flash Gordon toys without the movie. Flash Gordon seemed to be a more recognizable promotional name than Buck Rogers. That was a different time. Toy makers have a different mind set now. Computer games, computer games, computer games. Disney has threatened to make a new Buck Rogers movie since the late 90s. They'd probably just screw it up. I think the true fans could outline a better workable script than the bozos who have tried to write them. ;)
dratomic
Keep in mind, there was also a Flash Gordon cartoon -- it was pretty popular at that time, and probably went a long way in attracting young, impressionable minds... the parents' money!
