I'm so used to working with "TIN" that I just KNEW I could solder the arms on. Gave it a go ,,,,,,I don't know maybe it was the flux. robothut Posted May 2, 2007 Author Share Posted May 2, 2007 Actualy there is no reason these paper robots can not be made in tin. Just spray glue the paper print out to the thin tin or copper, then cut out with scissors like normal, peal off the paper (or not) then bend and solder. I have used this method many times as it saves a ton of time compared to trying to transfer measurments and lines to metal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
robothunter Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 Building one of these paper robots (it was a Robby, of couurse) proved to be one of the hardest things I ever did.
