Hi Voltage !

OK, here is my attempt at a Plasma-disc conversion. He was made from a

wrecked Giant Horikawa, and I decided to christen him H.I. Voltage, as a

little tribute to Mr. Gosses, who first joined tea tin head to giant robot body !

I painted him the same colors as the MorToys Robbie...

I am such a sucker for Red / Yellow / Blue robots !!!!

Finally, a pic of the two giants together....

These guys are so easy to work on, due to their large size,

but I can see that leading to one Really big problem ahead....

DISPLAY SPACE !!! :o

;) Rasta man !!! Only thing this guy misses is dredlocks ! More dark grey, silver & a touch of black & maybe some pale blue would get him my vote !!!

Nice use of plasma disk -- it's sort of like opening the doors on his internal energy source... or a massive death ray, I guess...

Well done.

Remember the old addage, robobob:

"Anything worth doing, is worth doing well"...and large!

You've succeeded on both counts!!!

Robobob,

Great job! Those plasma discs are cool.

Is that tin head a Bewley's 4oz tea tin? Looks like it to me. I just picked up some smaller 1.76 oz ones of the same style.

Those are both magnificent works of art, all in colours of whimsy from the 1960's and altogether a great improvement on the 'ugly head' Horikawa. So many ways they could've done that head but they opted for the simple boring one on the production model of the late '70s of this Super Giant.

Great work, colour and inspiration. I always admire those who can,....DO! Love that plasmo heartbox!!!

:) My gosh Robobob, this one is really a great package! It is classic in all categories, colors, head/face, the action indeed lives up to it's name! Fantastic robot! Great job, -larry7

You're on a roll, RB...looking good! Maybe needs an AC/DC sound bite? ;)

How big is that plasma disc? It seems smaller than the ones I'm used to seeing. Where did you get it?
