dratomic
Actually, Joe -- I've got the Rocket Dart, the Rocket Jet, AND the Space Explorer. You won't find them all on my web site, as it hasn't been updated too recently (which will soon change...). However, the Rocket Dar and Space Explorer guns are both visible on the "personal collections" page, and I recently posted a pic of the Rocket Jet somewhere in Alphadrome as a new pick up.:)
Joe K.
Nice goin', Doc.Does that Flying Saucer Gun and box look familiar? I realize this type of gun has been produced in dozens and dozens of different versions. I thought the original packaging might ring a bell. dratomic
Yeah, I've seen the flying saucer gun and box on ebay a few times. It's hard to remember, offhand, details -- as you say, it's been remade and reproed and reimagined so often that it gets a little blurry... Joe K.
Here's another picture of the Flying Saucer Gun in a U.S. Plastic Company's trade ad from 1953:That "star-in-a-circle" design at the base of the grip might help to identify it as a 1953 issue, maybe.
