:) Hi guys, this is from the early fall 1996 catalogue of The Mind's Eye out of Chelmsford, MA., a supplier of all kinds of nostalgic fun things. A trio of small plastic robots, I don't know what the box for these looked like or what the name of these robots are. -Larry 7

:) I just did a quick search for The Mind's Eye and didn't come up with this company, they may not be in business anymore. -Larry 7

L7: All these toys were imported from China by "Acutrements"

and came on cards and in a boxed loose assortment.

You probably could still find them at places like "The woundandwound".

I think there was also some older orginal issues that were made in Hong Kong.

Neet little wind up toys.

Those date back to atleast the mid 70's. I had them as a kid but they were made in Hong Kong and had a different key.

I received this one in 1980 from a friend when I bought his '73 Duster; I'm sure they were around quite a while before that. He bought it for me as a dashboard ornament!!! Made in Hong Kong.

Right, that is the Hong Kong key. It does not have the disk to strengthen the key wings as seen on the Chinese type.
