MaxPower
>> * I meant to keep this one for myself, but it was gone before the paint ceased to stink.Reading that just cracked me up; you're as creative in your phrasing as you are in your work! This robot is yet another splendid example of your phenomenal skill. H.I. Gosses
Thank you all for your kind reactions. Larry: Yes the funnelhead electric is a good mechanism, though you still have to fabricate a 90 degrees turned movement, but the remote is horrible and that means another dog. + it has Michelin-man legs. Schylling is nice but dear. both need legs and body too. So a general call to all: If any of you have a wrecked small Horikawa gear-robot for sale, LMK. No need for Head, Arms, Window or Gears. I will see if a attacking Martian could form the basis; these are quite commonbut most have plastic legs whereas the metal legs of the gear robot are quite beautiful. Maybe Papa will show us mercy one day. BTW I reckon the appearance of the repro Chief Robotman will be a happy dayfor all us customisers.

Dirk
Hallo Henk! Ich habe noch ein Wrack von einem SH Space Explorer - aber nicht vom kleineren SH Typ. SORRY! I think prices for Chicago flights are still down - No option for you - CHRIS or ERIC ?? Or maybe waiting for the very last minute flight from Schiphol would be the right choice??? Dirk
Well - my active english vocabulary would be best for an 2 1/2 year old boy in your Kindergarden. I hope 50 words would be enough - or a few sentences:Was ist dein bester Preis? What's your best price?Wo ist die Schachtel?Where is the box?Wie hoch wäre der Preis, wenn ich alle 3 Sankei Television nehme? What would be the price, if I pick up all 3 Sankei Television?Aber ich habe nur $ 3000,- ...But 3000,- bucks is all I've got...Kann ich mit meiner Credit Card bezahlen?NO!Sch.....F...Bargeld lacht! ( I hope Henk would be able to translate !!! )Wo ist die nächste Party und wo gibt es die besten Wiener Schnitzel?Where is the next party and where can you get the best Wiener Snitzels?
