SpaceBoy67
This is a truly amazing robot!! You have completely outdone yourself with this one...it's spectacular! After seeing this, my heart is filled with robot lust and I did, in fact, have to wipe up a little spot of drool off my keyboard. Any chance of seeing a short video clip of him in action? (If necessary, I can host the file for you.)
robothut
Love it Henk. I have never bin a big fan of Nixie tubes, they were in every old Si Fi film of the 1960's and every junk shop in the 1970's but I think you have found a good use for them in this robot conversion. Looks realy great! And as always love the box art work!
steve
Wow - let me say it again - Wow - very sharp and clean looking. Very Sci-fi too. Each project so much different then the other - even when using the same base shell. Did I say wow!!!

larry seven
:) Good lord, Henk! That is really something! 220v huh? I will have to run 220 to my library/robot room if you sell these! Lovely art, as stated above, the robot is just lovely. Can you make a rotate-o-matic bug zapper robot for my patio? Oh! now all of you will run out and make one, so that next year every patio will have one. -L7
duxastrogirl
So Henk, how was it over there?? I really like the memento you brought along ... Really really amazing!
Robotnut
Beautiful Henk !!! When I suggested that Bart try making a Nixie Robot, I was just teasing. I didn't actually think anybody would be insane enough to try it ! Back in highschool, I made a nixie tube voltmeter. It was quite accurate, but it had the tendency of burning up the circuits that I tried to test...
klotzm1
To all those who make/modify robots/space toys, I always enjoy your efforts. This, however, is Doc. E. E. Smith, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and all those great old serials and art deco rolled into one. Better than Terry Gilliams special effects in "BRAZIL".This is a benchmark effort. I salute you. laserman
SIMPLY AWESOME.....I can appreciate the frustration with the electronics behaving badly when trying to close it up.
Russell
The giant tubes look PERFECT inside Chief Robotman's chassis. The toy still maintains the fine balance and proportion that make the original so spectacular. agree ..agree..Rt
