robocub
Hi all, I recently bought a replacement iPod battery. Wait wait, there is a point here... The battery came with two great little vinyl tools to open the iPod casing without scratching it. I've found that these tools work great when working on tin robots as they dont scratch the metal or the paint.I've been seaching the internet all over to find more vinyl tools but I can't find anything. Does anyone here know of such things or where to get them? Thanks for any help.-robocub
dratomic
Hi. Thanks for the info. Could you post pictures of them by any chance? I'm curious as to what they look like.
robocub
They're both about 4 inches long. The tips are bit chewed up at this point, hence why I'm looking for replacements as well as other types of vinyl tools.
Joe K.
I'll bet a trip to your local Arts & Crafts store (A.C. Moore, Michael's, etc) would yield a few of this "less-than-lethal" vinyl/nylon/plastic instruments. Check the "knitting" and "clay sculpture" sections.
