Andyman Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQgTzlsEL_I It definitely has an ASMR quality to it.
6Stelab9 Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 That's great skill but I'm a bit disappointed with the sanding of the upper tin part and the litho replacement by stickers. That's an extreme restoration.
Andyman Posted May 1, 2024 Author Posted May 1, 2024 Just curious, how would this effect the value? I mean it was pretty much a wreck before hand.
SAL Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Kinda agree with Stelab; while I’m a big fan of restoration and I agree the person who did this restoration has great skills, I think that restoration just went a bit too far. There was more original lithography that could’ve been saved, at least leaving the original makers markings on the final product.
