How do you display your space guns.

On today's live stream "5/13/2023" Ozzie was asking what the best way is to display all the space guns he has collected. I know in the past many of you have shown how you display yours but maybe show the pictures again to give Ozzy some ideas.

Back in the 1990's "when Sony had just come out with their digital camera that stored the images on to a floppy disc. I took some pictures of how Mark P. displays his space guns. So in there full 640 by 480 highest setting here are the images. Share your as well please.

Thanks for the pictures John

Interesting display

I still have to figure a way to incorporate the boxes if I went that route

I covered an extra thick sheet of styrfoam with material and use hat pins stuck into the styrofoam at an upward angle to secure the guns. The massive advatage of this system is that you can make unlimited adjustments as the pins will work anywhere. The downside is it is best for plastic and lighter tin guns. My heavier metal guns like the Atomic Disintegrator have to be displayed elsewhere.

Personally, I devoted some space on my bookshelves and invested in a variety of acrylic stands.  I say, "variety," because ray guns have such a bizarre assortment of shapes and sizes, there is no "one size fits all" for display.  For displaying the boxes, I bought some 2x3s, cut them to size, sanded them, stained them, and tucked them behind the ray guns to give the boxes a bit of elevation.  This is probably the least space-efficient method of display, but I think it's pretty cool and gives my collection a steam punk aesthetic.

I  3D printed some stands.   Time consuming as most guns need a diferent stand, but ok once you have done the first one.

We're not allowed to have Guns in Canada, thanks Justin Castro. But if we could, here's how I would be ready for the Zombie Apocalypse... 😬
