I may bump this up several hours to perhaps 1-2 Eastern Time US

so across the pond can catch the premier.

I believe this is one, if not THE most beautiful space toy boxes ever made.

It has tons of cross appeal as a toy too.

A superb choice to launch the 1st toy on the alphadrome youtube channel IMO !

Be there or be ⬛

This is an incredible find. Not only have I never seen this before, my understanding is that very few Jetsons items were produced when the show was first aired. There were pleanty of merchandise released in the 80's around the time of the movie release but again, very few vintage Jetson items from the early sixties when the one season of the original TV show was aired.

And of course extreme rarity aside it's a great toy and beautiful box.

AMAZING Ozzie. I hope you can provide some backstory on this like the origins of this toy, how you found it and why it has never been seen or documented here before.

I'm imagining Stan's reaction to this toy being a space toy AND a Hannah Barbarra collector. 🙂

Wow! I am shocked !!!

I love the jetsons. I have several items made in USA.

Is hard to find toys or merchandise related to the first show. This is a real Jewel. Thanks for posting the toy and the box, you just made my day😄

Double WOW. What a beautiful toy and box. Never seen it before. Congrats on the pick up.

My only negative comment? Where's Rosie?

Sometimes, she must feel like the Shemp of the Jetson's family.

There's an extra Jane that could've been easily been replaced with Rosie.

Thanks for the remarks , much appreciated

Plan to make a video on my normal channel & will discuss some things on the bus

It's a very striking toy & box

There is the generic robot on there. Pity they ignored Rosie.

Someone mentioned it only ran for one season. That's news to me

Seems like I watched it for years as a kid

At any rate, this was posted on youtube nearly 5 years ago

from What I was told this producer for Cartoon Network bought a huge Hanna Barbera collection

& this was his prize piece. So much so he used it in the attached bumber ad.

I've heard rumors of one more in the box but have not been able to verify it

& have not seen one sold at auction here or abroad.

Congratulations. Fun to have something so rare! I would have thought  if they went to the trouble of making the fully printed toy and the box, production would have been moving along and there would at least be a few hundred hiding out there. On the other hand, it's likely a standard bus with a new printing, so perhaps that's an easier thing to knock out just a few samples of. I'll bet the toy got cancelled when the show did. I was surprised that the show was only made for half a year. I remember watching it every week, but even though I was crazy for robots I wasn't a terribly big fan. As a robot, Rosie never did it for me. Space travel and robots were serious business and I think the goofy cartoon didn't quite mesh with my seven year old aesthetic. It's funny looking back and thinking I had an aesthetic at that point, but I at least had very strong opinions and passed on toys that now, I wish I'd bought!
