Martian Gil
Well, here's my next project. I got this one a year or two back and had him stashed away for a rainy weekend. Wheels will obviously be an issue for him, but I think I found a cool solution. I will load some more pics this weekend - his body surface is pretty dirty / stained. I will likely remove all of his "chromed" parts for the process. Another great test for the Meguiar's #26 Tech wax. Cheers all! Hopefully, I can make a cool vid of him striding along, later this weekend.

Maloo
Good luck with this one, Kirk. Your Mr Lem turned out great! Do you still have your Daiya Ranger, etc? I am not sure what are your have's and have nots in your collection now.

Fineas J. Whoopie
I'm sure it will look great Kirk. Now you've got everyone waiting to see it! BTW, mine is a variation not mentioned in the database. Besides having the "Winged Cragstan" logo on the top of the chest, there are two design elements on the bottom of the chest not seen on other versions. Also the of the arms, legs and the shoulder areas are sharper around the edges than the others which are more rounded on the corners.
tinluver2
Cool variant Don. Facial features are a bit different as well. I'm sure Kirk is a FINE plastic surgeon :))!

That Ranger has moved through the revolving door that is my cabinet - but I've added some more fun stuff. I'll add more pics when I get better organized, lol. thanks for the encouraging words, everyone - these plastic bots are a test for the nerves, for sure, lol. A few years back, I had the variations including the "C" wing, as well as Zero of Space. That last fellow that you show is listed in the database as Mr. Astronaut - I don't think I've seen that one before. His levers / controls on the front very much resemble Mr. Flash / Manmos King. The little push / spring operated Cragstan Moon Men have similar moldings as well. I'll add some more pics later this afternoon if I can. I'm planning on using these little RC landing gear tires for his wheels - they are hard rubber and 1 inch diameter. The Meguiar's is doing the trick again. The marred plastic on his chest will mostly be covered after I put him together. The large spot on his lower left was quite hard to remove. Maloo
Looking shiny and bright Kirk! It's great to see you still have the enthusiasm for the hobby.
Martian Gil
Sort of done... It seems that I need to re-work that fiddly wire to his old lightbulb. He cleaned up well and those odd wheels / tires seem to do the trick. When I locate my Molotow (sp?) chrome pens, I'll likely do a little touch here and there as well. Cheers! 6Stelab9
He's a good runner. I bet on him. Fantastic work once more Kirk. About Meguiar's miror glaze 26, I haven't been able to find any in France yet but I keep on looking.
Martian Gil
Thank you Stephane! He does get up and go pretty well - I'll need to check on those wheels or block him a bit. The rubber is dense, but I'm certain that it will develop flat spots at some point. I would imagine that you could get the Meguiars #26 on ebay - I'm just not certain about shipping. if you aren't able to find that or similar, message me and I'll get some to you
