Build Bird Houses ? Bird houses ? So ,,just in case anyone ask that ever again,,I designed and built a Bird house. Oh yes that's it...I build Bird Houses. People have trees down constantly . Post ads wanting them removed. I had cut, split and stacked 4 cord by April. 7 Months is enough seasoning once it's split. 2 yrs ago,,I capitulated and bought an electro hydraulic splitter. For the Gnarly locust and elm. I did the same Much easier on the back. We're up to our ears in Ash around here - the Emerald Borer tore through them. Previous to their arrival, Ash splitting was quite easy - but the damage caused odd, inner re-growth, weird energy re-directed - in an effort to survive. I don't think I could ax or maul split any serious amount of Ash now - tangly, tearing, messed up wood. Still burns like it always has, but it's sad to see them all go.
