Note that the side of the box shows the three different space guns in the series: No. 1 Fireflash-X No. 2 Little Joe No. 3 Tomahawk The seller identifies the maker as Tsukuda. The box logo can be found in William Gallagher's book, Japanese Toys - Amusing Playthings From the Past, page 38 where it is described this way: Initials: T + Bell Company: Tsukuda Co., Ltd. English name: Tsukuda Co., Ltd. Trademark derivation: Tsukuda I believe the Fireflash-X is not battery operated, as implied in the Database description, but rather it is a friction, sparking mechanism.
