MMM Space Crawler?

I just used up an unexpected bit of cash to buy a Major Matt Mason Space Crawler. It works, but is weak; the crawlers are floppy. On the inside of each, is a sort of red doohickey- is it for tightening or something? Obviously, I have no instructions...

Also, it is missing a hubcap (darn those Selenites!). Is there a place that sells new or repro toy parts?

Here;s something I found......Do you have one of the Hub caps?

I could create an object file to print a spare via Treatstock or Sculpteo.

eBay always has Major Matt Mason parts for sale......Can you post an image of the Hub cap?

A great toy, that could climb practically anything.  But the hub caps were always a problem.  My Friend's crawler didn't even come with hub caps.  Another Friend's crawler only came with one hub cap.
