beautiful pair, John!    Great surface texture!
Do you think that the resin will be hugely useful for you going forward, or is it better for spot applications?

It will be on a job by job evaluation. It is too heavy and fragile compared with filament printing for most mechanical parts but great for visual detail parts. It is just another tool that you use when it is called apon.

I reached the same conclusion: not a substitute for plastic but a great addition. It's also very expensive, more prone to failure and less geometrically reliable.

If you drop a PLA robot it will bounce. If you drop resin, it shatters.

Most concerning, recently, is just how healthy the stuff is.

for sure - I think what both of you tow have been creating with pla has been amazing.
Perhaps the resin component can be used to dress things up where you choose.
VOC's in the home environment is always a concern - we all want you two to keep kicking.  🙂

while you two are on the same thread, John had some things to say about Selekrobot's speed...   nothing that you don't already know, Brian.
But, he is feeling very confident about that Alpha Strider's speed in races going forward.
I was as well, but then I remembered that big fellow that I got from you recently - he's got a fair amount of speed.
They may well face off at some point 🙂
