Any opinion on the prices reached today and yesterday at the Bertoia’s Monique Knowlton collection auction…The tippco Mickey & Minnie Mouse motorcycle did $185.000 Im attaching pictures with some of my favorites…if the page is cut will follow in the nex one… I wonder who the bidders were? Black Rock CEOs…I’m nuts, the yonezawa jet racer did $21.000, when it usually goes for 4, 6, 7 or 8 thousand , but 21.000!!! The whole auction was kind of ridiculous price wise…I’m pretty sure the PROVENANCE has a lot to do, everybody wants a pice of Monique at home….but again for me, prices were just to high… Any comments?
