Eagle
I was able to land an IWG rocket. It's not perfect. All three lasers are missing as is the antenna. If anyone has one,,I would appreciate any close-up photos of both. Maybe I can do a mock-up and cast. Thank You, Mark

Andyman
Where did you pick up that rocket, Mark? I've always like that one but never pulled the trigger.
Eagle
Andy, took me two yrs to find one that wasn't way more than logic would dictate. I think it is one of the coolest commercial rockets ever. 17" tall too. I found it on an obscure place called Mercari . I don't even know if the place is legit. Clark Howard recommends it . Anyhow, I want to try to turn some this winter out of Basswood . The story of IWG is a little weird..But it's gone now. They built 950. I NEVER have seen them at auctions. Where did they all go ? Eagle
I received my big IWG rocket yesterday. As per the seller,,the Antenna and 3 Pod LASERS are missing. Was able to copy some close-up photos, and turn some master prototypes on the lathe. Then set a silicon mold and begin casting in Alumilite. First one cast. Not too bad. Andyman
Nice save, Mark. Doesn't look like a $400 rocket new. Glad I didn't buy one. I make my own now.
