Screws: Tamper Proof Screws On Kid's Meals Toys

All the toys that come with the McDonalds/Burger King/Wendys/etc kid's meals have a triangular shaped screw head holding the toys together (and the button battery within).

Has anyone come across a source for a screwdriver with this "tamper proof" tip?

What is the official name for this type of screw head? I know it's not "flat", "phillips", "torx", "spanner", etc.

Joe, the triangular screws are not the problem.

Once you get those out, you will find that most

of these "burger toys" are also super glued

together. I have a set of driver tips that include

the triangles as well as the security Torx. I picked

them up at a fleamarket for about $10 . I think

due to extreme safety regs and fear of lawsuits,

these toys are designed to be disposable. Years

from now all those guys who collect burger toys

will be left with nothing but little plastic bags of

battery corroded crud... :P
