Joe K.
All the toys that come with the McDonalds/Burger King/Wendys/etc kid's meals have a triangular shaped screw head holding the toys together (and the button battery within).Has anyone come across a source for a screwdriver with this "tamper proof" tip? What is the official name for this type of screw head? I know it's not "flat", "phillips", "torx", "spanner", etc.

Joe K.
PRIVATE MESSAGE to H.I.Gosses -Henk, if Thunder robot can teach me about security screws, maybe he can teach you about posting super-sized photos!!!
Robotnut
Joe, the triangular screws are not the problem.Once you get those out, you will find that mostof these "burger toys" are also super gluedtogether. I have a set of driver tips that includethe triangles as well as the security Torx. I pickedthem up at a fleamarket for about $10 . I thinkdue to extreme safety regs and fear of lawsuits, these toys are designed to be disposable. Yearsfrom now all those guys who collect burger toyswill be left with nothing but little plastic bags ofbattery corroded crud... :P
