The ad copy reads:

"TV Robot.....$5.50

This space age wizard is battery operated with a special TV screen feature that shows pictures of prehistoric scenes as he walks along swinging his arms. He stands almost 20" tall and is of sturdy metal and plastic."

 

That '20" tall' must be a typo! More like 12" tall.

 

Can anyone confirm the name of this robot with a photo of the box?

That antenna, those red fly-eyes and the prehistoric TV scenes really narrow the possibilities.

 

The astronaut headed version of this toy can be seen in Botho Wagner's Roboter-Weltraumspielzeug, page 40, item #20. It is called Space Explorer.
