H.I. Gosses
The Process of dividing 2 or more pictures on one surface,as for ex. the Winky eyes, is called:.............?Is is used in the "Space Explorer", the belly shaking "Comical Robot",one of the HongKong robots with a super hero and Godzilla alternating behinda tv screen etc. There are thousands of bikini-clad ladies, who loose parts of their dressunder the second angle. The best I ever saw was a souvenir from Lourdes. Jesus on the cross, who shed a tear. I would like to use this trick for some custom jobs*,and I know there must be hundreds of them on ebay, but 3D and Magic eye give 1000's of other systems. So please give me the"Magic word." *Would have been nice for the tv Winky conversion, John.Or would anybody of you want to send me a postcard? robert
Henk, there are several companies on the web that can supply you with the lenticular plastic used to generate these images. Just do a search under "lenticular technology".

And it has allready resulted in the purchase of a rocket circling a comet. Great. Long live IT!and here is a link to an explanation of the thing:http://www.3dphotopro.com/3dbook/2.html

robothut
The companys that develope the 3d cameras that use film can print the images uesing the lenticular film and supply kits as I recall. I did a Winky repair last year for a guy, the winky eye was missing on one side, I was able to take lenticular picturer of a sail boat and remove the sail boat image and replace it with a the winky eye image and it worked perfectly. So what are you up to now Henk? H.I. Gosses
Yes John, there is even a computer program around that allows you to print two images in strips of #1 and #2. Then you have to glue that behind the lens.If the picture is even a bit bigger than a Winky eye, you are sure to go out of register,-either in printing or in glueing. This is a poison chalice I would politely pass on. I found, with the magic word!, 5 vari-view pictures of a comet + rocket. This might be the basis of a tv robot. However I first have to make the second batch of G. (and there is the small matterof the 40 cadavers, the two movie robot arms, some animatronics and a show controller)I would also like to see if I can modify a smoking spaceman, that will not look like a modified smoking spaceman(!). This, (read fo smoking spaceman Winky) succeededmagnificently with your Sonic Winky. However I could not have made that as I would have wanted the head from tin and that would have me die making for 3 weeks. Morbius
 Whoa...this thread finally is the clincher...I realize now that you fellas are nothing but the world's top scientists masquerading as toy builders/collectors/winder-uppers.....Santa needs you guys year-round to help out!!I remember playing with lenticular buttons (from JELLO packs; remember the hockey players?) and small hand held games/cards back in the early '60's and never realized how intricate and scientific it all was.
