I have a Star Patrol II robot that has unfortunately developed some oxidation on the caps on the side of its head despite being stored in his box in a dry/cool location. The rust is only limited to those two spots and does not appear to present elsewhere on the bot. Is there a safe method I could consider to clear this up? I certainly don't want to damage him so if it's too much of a risk to remove it from these isolated areas I probably won't bother and will do what I can to prevent further development going forward.
