In  November of 1963 T Zone aired Uncle Simond and Robby stared in it with his mechanical Hear Box still intact. Upside down but intact. The in May of 1964 the mechanical heart box was gutted and replaced with 3 lights.

Dollar store LED lights were used with a low cost sequencer. Circuit can operate from 4 AA batteries or 1 9 volt battery.

The main body of the heart box can be printed as 1 peice or use the split files for printing on a Prusa MK3 type printer. If you have a smaller build plate on your printer then you might have to print the split parts vertically and angled.

I added a window tint to the light units so they would blend in to the paint better and look more like the vintage images of the heart box. Also it seems the Model Master Lacquer gun metal paint is no long made, they do make a Acrylic gun metal paint that I have not tried yet color # 4681.
