robothut Posted June 30, 2020 Author Share Posted June 30, 2020 I did this project some weeks ago but have been waiting on the battery holders to arrive. I am now out of TT gear motors. I have out standing orders for more motors but so far none have arrived. So the motorized fun may be on hold. Also add in the fact that the price for PLA filament has gone way up and getting specific colors is almost impossible does not help. So this maybe a 1 off unless things change. The local manufacturer posts odd reels each day and they're snapped up immediately. You have to take unusual colours but I tend to paint most of my stuff. Unfortunately among them I ordered some 130 rpm motors that I had mistaken for being 1:130. Not sure what I’ll do with those. I search every day for a good translucent red for my current project.
