Volker Posted March 29, 2003 Share Posted March 29, 2003 hello,also I am still on search for the maker of this Plastic-Tractor.I contact Marx-Toys USA- here the answer :Dear Friend: Sorry for the delay but I submitted your information and pictures to one of ourmembers who was part of the Marx subcontracting division. It was the opinion of ourpeople that the toy is not a Marx U.S.A. since we could not find any reference to anitem like the one you have. I then ask if it might be a Marx contracted Asia toy. Theanswer was no it was not an off shore Marx toy. The toy could be Japanese in makebut we are sure its not a Marx design or production. Guest Posted March 31, 2003 Share Posted March 31, 2003 Volker, that logo looks like one I've seen on a number of East European toys, probably USSR. One such toy is a wind up crane on a simple base.
