Suffered a stroke

All, 

     I’m in the hospital awaiting carotid surgery tomorrow morning...I suffered a stroke Wednesday night. This is a serious procedure, wish me luck.

Thanks everyone. I feel like the Frankenstein pictured above, but so far, so good.

Andy, no permanent damage they can see. I’m rewiring quickly. They removed a big plug from my artery. It wasn’t an aneurism, it was lack of blood flow.

Very glad to hear your surgery is over and you're recovering.  find it surreal when having surgery and anesthesia. You go from fully awake to under in seconds and wake up with a start and have no idea how much time has passed or what happened. I find it very weird and disconcerting  very unlike sleeping. Especially when I woke up after last November  abdominal aneurysm  surgery.
