robothut
I had these 3d printed mechanical legs that were to good to throw in the bin, so I made up a body and head from remixed B9 robot and R2 robot parts. Added in some color changing LEDs and mechanical rotating LED effect in the translucent R2 head. Operates from 2 AA batteries. So here is a short video of the robot in action. robothut
Its a 1 off project, as I am still working on the body for the Roto-matic robot project. Non of the digital cameras or video camera can seem to capture the true colors of the LEDs. They just turn out as hot spots or not at all. But in person they look fantastic. RoboDerby
Are the colors painted or is it different color filaments? Boy it came out great either way. I love the colors and all of the printed detail in the body.
