Joe K.
Spotted this in a 1974 M. Pressner & Co. wholesale catalog: Anyone recognize it? The other hand drawn guns appear faithful to the actual pieces: I've checked the Database and a few other sites but have come up empty. Lots of distinguishing parts: transparent plastic water pistol, ribbed grip, that rather large site, distinctive barrel. If anyone can I.D. it, I'll add it to the Timeline. Here's the BIN catalog listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1974-M-PRESSNER-CO-Dimestore-distibutor-WHOLESALE-CATALOG-Very-Rare/202900354957?_trkparms=aid%3D1110001%26algo%3DSPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20160323102634%26meid%3D0ad1501e16914f4399f18fa46f02bfb3%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D202912404380%26itm%3D202900354957%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-
Brian..
Thanks, Joe. A classic design considering it's a 1974 catalog. Usual problem with adding these guns to the database: how do you describe them without a name or maker? Perhaps we need an extra word: unidentified. I'd enjoy revisiting them from time to time to see if we can clear up the mystery.
Brian..
I've added the gun. I'll also use the "unidentified" tag to add a number of images sitting on my computer.
