space.trucks
Currently an unknown, ran it by Paul Vreede and he'd never seen it before. Came with the orange BB style Space Buggy, neither of which are marked but the buggy matches the one by LP on Paul's site minus wheels. Distinctly different than the two Major Matt Mason derived mini-crawlers in the first image. The lines are more consistent with the BB crawler and it is equipped with a viewscreen like Billy's portable computer. I thought that one of Billy's portable computers hitched onto the front end but it's not shown in this image. The Space Buggy form which came with it, though it is not known (yet) if they were part of a specific set. space.trucks
Yeah here we go. I don't have any BB stuff so I'm unfamiliar with how it pieces together, but it appears that his crawler may have had its own computer console. Pretty sure it was push-along as opposed to the motorized Matt Mason crawler. Will have to nose around on YT for footage of the units in action. The console also helps date the copy to post-1968 which is when Eldon first released the BB sets.
