I'd experimented with carving a crater out of a massive glob of insulation foam ("Great Stuff") and it needed something inside for the spacemen to find. Been reading about the unknown obelisk forms found out in the desert and as soon as I stuck that block of clay in there heard the music in me head. Figures are all anonymous HK Giant + LP copies, diecast "Lost in Space" Space Pod of recent manufacture by Johnny Lightning. Painting is as yet unfinished so I may this again.
