space.trucks
Sent from the Ukraine though I believe the vendor is Hungarian. Am of the opinion both were meant to be holding tools and the 2nd one's broke off somewheres in the sands of time. Hard plastic, maybe model kit? Each stands about 1.75 inches. No markings. Alain Lapointe
Hi, no soviet, these are the smaller scale version of the 3 AHI Azrak Hamway Astronauts which are about 10 cm tall. These resized version were a surprise in chocolate eggs distributed in France and Germany. Also a twistable torso swoppet style was made for the small ones. Many thanks & makes sense -- Vendor also had some Manurba figures which came with them. Glasnost fare, looks like both are missing parts of their equipment but delighted to have them. I keep holding out hope that non-cherubic Russian cosmonauts surface with nice CCCP lettering on their helmets or something else distinctive of Soviet origin. I don't "get" the baby astronaut thing so, the search continues.
