Andyman
Back in August I was contacted by one Greg Hansen wondering if I could build an Andybot based off of a tattoo he designed and wears on his arm. It was a neat little design so I went all in. He attaches to his based via neodymium magnets from hard drives. Greg thought it was neat how he could spin on his base. Not intentional but a cool bonus! "Auto the Automaton", 2019. 8.5" w/o base. 9.5" with base. (LEDs, light mounting brackets, computer keyboard keys, wooden beads, hard drive covers, neodymium magnets, scrap wood and metal, etc.)
RoboDerby
Nailed it Andy. Do the LEDs light? Either way, great character.

Tinplate6
Nice job! So, Andy, was it harder working from someone else’s design, as opposed to your own?

Actually Brady, this one was very close to my design style already. I also think it's easier knowing what I'm trying to end up with. My normal process is a little more organic in nature. I tend to have a basic idea but once I start building, who knows where I'll end up.

Phil R
I missed some of your posts or have short term memory loss. Your 2D to 3D is exceptional.
