Fineas J. Whoopie
Anyone have the toy to this box? I didn't win it but I have been trying to find an image of the toy with no luck. Doesn't seem to be in the database that I can find.
Brian..
Fascinating. I've no idea.

Dirk
Does it look like this Don?
Joe K.
From the angle of the photo, that box looks pretty shallow. Might the original Masudaya B/O Space Express have looked like (inspired) this W/U Space Rocket Express put out by Rocket USA a few years ago?:
Fineas J. Whoopie
Joe - I think you are on the right "track". Dirk. I don't think it's a variation box for the Mars Space Trip. I don't think it could fit in this mystery box.
Joe K.
That is a pretty shallow box: I've run out of adjectives in my google image searches. Came up empty on the Bay as well. Somebody here on the 'drome must recognize it!
Ranger
I have looked through all my books, auction mags, sifted through google and can’t find anything either.
6Stelab9
I don't think it will help, but the rocket looks close to the X-4 venus express rocket
Fineas J. Whoopie
Joe - I think you are possibly right about the Rocket USA Space Rocket being inspired by the Space Express. If so, the people at Rocket USA must have seen one somewhere. Also the box art on the Space Express seems to use the exact same rocket and similar font as this Space Age box. roboz
My Box is here I may have the toy buried somewhere but won't know for several months The box is 10 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches deep Given the size You'd expect this to be a wind up as opposed to battery op BTW The Bottom of the box is Marked #2146
roboz
If I don't have it . My guess is it's a version of this toy & perhaps the battery is used for illuminating part of the vehicle
