The not quite real but real enough to keep the viewer fascinated. Call me old fashioned but I would have puppetry, animatronics and old style cartoons over cgi anyday. Hey but that's progress. Golddalek Posted August 13, 2019 Share Posted August 13, 2019 Gerry Anderson was unique. Nothing like this was ever done on TV. His amazing miniature sets were the CGI back then. I loved his family values, even Grandma had a part in the Thunderbirds organization. Mr. Anderson respected people in general it seems. robothut Posted August 13, 2019 Author Share Posted August 13, 2019 The puppets being 1/3 scale was cool to see. and then they show the inside of the heads and how they used soleniod's to control the mouth movement.
