RoboDerby
I don’t know exactly how one is supposed to ride this thing. But it looks pretty sweet. Somebody pick this baby up so I can live vicariously through you, or better yet, visit you and ride it! I find it pretty funny that in the last photo on the listing, the label says “This Machine Must Be Connected To Earth.” https://www.ebay.com/itm/coin-operated-Vintage-Antique-Amutec-Robot-Kiddie-Ride-Circa-1985-Collectors/173776920960?hash=item2875e96180:g:Ns4AAOSwwDJcV6AE
Golddalek
It's a typical Earth ground reference..............But I agree, I have no clue where the kids sit and ride. Looks like some generic thing put together ad-hoc.

It just shakes the bajeezus out of you?
Martian Gil
Cool, Jeremy - I like this guy's face! Maybe you ground it with the kiddies? Then they get an electrifying experience!!
Joe K.
It looks to me like there's an opening on the right side of the bot. Here's a video of a similar ride where both sides are open:

Tinplate6
It is simply a robot costume you can wear, but you can’t take it out on Halloween.
Joe K.
Anybody else see the Maxx Steele influence in the design of these kiddie rides?
