Three artworks for a group show in Syracuse NY. Venue is a trendy hipster Japanese Noodle & Steak shop in the downtown and the theme of the exhibit "Made In Japan". Two are brand new, one from last year, and all are about or made from toys. First two are altered B/W printouts of diorama pix & the other a freehand painting.

Agreed! Am drawing inspiration from pulp science fiction imagery, which always works best when there are human females involved. Am making obtaining examples of Space Gal figures a priority. And others which play into the mythology of how the males need armored space suits, the gals just fine in a swimsuit leotard, heels and maybe a bubble helmet.

"Incident on Vega Nine", from April. Just struck on the idea of using smaller gumball machine globes to make her a bubble helmet. Will post the results!

The upcoming show topics I chose for our 2020 public call exhibits are Fish in January, Toys in May, and Artificial Intelligence for next July -- Am stoked to report that The Undersea War Rocket piece from the noodle shop exhibit sold! but the opening was not robustly attended by Space Babes. Then I had to leave before the serious drinking began due to a family concern. And that's showbiz.
