Was thinking maybe Bare Metal Foil... very thin, used in car modeling to assimilate chrome mouldings, trim etc. Different tints, colors available last I'd checked... Think I may try the foil I mentioned and post results here, have used it on model cars and its very easy to work with (very thin).
