robothut Posted July 2, 2018 Share Posted July 2, 2018 I thought I would share 3 variations of the claw foot walking mechanics that you can build. I have placed the files on Thing-I-verse and the you tube video has links. Type 1 is the basic design that both lifts and tips the body as it walks. Type 2 only lifts the body as it walks and type 3 is a cam driven version that keeps the body still as it walks , making it a good design for solar powered robots. robothut Posted July 2, 2018 Author Share Posted July 2, 2018 Yes Brian I have seen the walking paper design, in fact back when the guy that designed it first was showing but not making it public I made a deal with him "$" and got the files, printed them and never built it.
