robothut Posted May 28, 2018 Author Share Posted May 28, 2018 Yes it has been a method I have used for many years now, Brian. The modified STL files will be "Manifold" if the original STL was, so good to slice and print. For those with Windows machines the free program "3d Builder" is good for correcting Non Manifold STL files and its also a good program for adding cut outs or holes to a STL file.
