Bart, regarding the dark green: it may just be a matter of ratio of blue to yellow. As David said, if it's anything like mixing paint, a little more blue and less yellow should make a darker green.

robert that worked great! color is much closer!!!!!

Silicone rubber is very good for the moulds and 2-components PU hard resin

for very good detailed casts. All brands here are different, so there is no use in

mentioning names.

I prefer PU to epoxy (John??) but that might be because of the particular product.

I got that from the archeology museum that replicated all the items from

Thut-Ank-Amon.

As to the rockets that B might be casting, maybe some tips:

Eastwood comp., who sell things for car restorers, sell someting they call

gripping compound.

You dip the handle of your hammer in it and it forms a rubbery, flexible coating.

They have it in various colours, certainly red.

So you either make a rocket and dip the tips or you make a form (Lathe?) which you cover

with releasing agent, and dip that.

Polyester colouring agents work for epoxy and vice versa.

A flat sanding machine make a very good "remover-of-airbubbles-from-a -mould".

Vacuum domes also help
