Boggad
I thought I'd introduce my Space Board game collection. I have set some boundaries on the collection being they are pre 1970. For the most part these are board games, but a few other space games being card games and target games are included. The bulk of the collection are from the US but I have games from about 10 different countries at present. I most probably admire the board games from the 40s and 50s when I think space travel was at its most imaginative and the graphics just amazing. I will start with the few Australian Space Games: Danny Dux (1958) Dux Stationary Co Space Game (1953) John Sands; Space A Race to the Moon (Abt 1956) (Unknown but believed to be Australian from the graphics showing the Woomera rocket launch site in South Australia) Tomorrowland Rocket to the Moon (1956) John Sands ;Space Race Card game (1969) John Sands Aust (pictured is the US Ed-U-Cards maker as they are identical)
