Joe K.
Spotted in a 1967 The Par-Tee Toy Chest catalogue from Windsor, Ontario Canada. It most closely resembles the Thunderbirds Zero-X, but the catalogue description makes no such connection. Anyone know it's generic name, other than "Secret Ray Gun"? Box? Header Card? Manufacturer? Joe K.
It's called (as the catalogue says) Secret Raygun: http://www.grandoldtoys.com/toydb_Detail.php?id=1325&S_keywords=gun,china,plastic&Search.x=0&Search.y=0 With the Frankonia name appearing on both the box and the toy. I'll be adding this to the Timeline ASAP.

Fineas J. Whoopie
the 1967 date makes a lot of sense for this toy, particularly with this marketing angle. "secret agents" were very popular in the culture at the time. You know Frankonia would have rather called it "James Bond's 007 Gun" but didn't want to spend the money on the rights. Maybe the Thunderbird rights were a better deal. Very cool piece.
