H.I. Gosses
The Gustav robot, whom I will -eventually- make in a small edition, has been given a home. For those interested in (Iconographic) ethymology: The robot figure comes mainly from the "Zoomer in circle"-box. Lettering and "key wound motor" + all the searchlights: from Sparky-box. Skyscratchers, car, pedestrians and trees from various, prewar, Japanese toyboxes, And all the rest from PhotoShop and Illustrator. I hope you like it, print it and hang it over your beds. Robotnut
Henk, if there's still room on the list, count me in as well. There's something about a DANGEROUS GARAGE ROBOTwith HOME DEPOT PAINT that I just can't resist.P.S. Make sure you use an EPSON PRINTER for the box art... :P
David Kirk
This is a nice looking box, and quite in the spirit of the originals. Still, I wish Gustav were up to some useful work. Something about him (the toy) looks as though he should be shoveling coal into the furnace of a big galactic locomotive.
duxastrogirl
Cool box! Already printed it and lighted some candles around for Saint Gustav.

laserman
Great job! I'd love one of these.I wish there was even more robot development activity like this. I thought of doing something like this, but have too many other projects right now.It takes a real love of the subject matter to make an effort shine like GUSTAV!FANTASTIC!
