6Stelab9
As seen on the French 1980 Christmas Catalog The robot was released in France as "Robot non-stop lance soucoupes". Celect 2000 is probably the name of the importer or a local brand (this name appears also on the french box of the starroid radio robot I-R4-U) . Brian..
Thanks, 9stel - I've updated the record. I despair of finding manufacturers for these Hong Kong robots.
Joe K.
Nice find, 6S9. The one Database box: bears the logo from Scientific Toys: I don't recognize the other one:
6Stelab9
You are right Joe. The scientific toys symbol appears at the bottom of the robot: This thread seems to be essential to identify the HK Manufacturers: For the other logo, I guess there maybe several compagnies being ordered to produce the same robot. Or is it a distributor/importator logo?
6Stelab9
This catalogue confirms the date of the starry robot. BTW notice the "robot television" which is probably the Saturn robot by Kamco.
